Our "adventure" began in June 2012 as we packed up our home and, as ordered by the US Coast Guard, moved from San Diego, CA to Kodiak, AK.  Saying good bye to "home" was difficult but we were so thankful and appreciative to all of our friends and family for making our farewell memorable and special. 

As we begin to establish new "roots" in Alaska, we hope to be able to stay in touch.  I thought a blog would be a fun way to share a piece of our adventure with anyone that might be interested. :)  If you ever find yourself in the Gulf of Alaska, please don't hesitate to give us a call.  We'd love to have visitors out here on "The Rock"!
